Deb’s Style Dots Story: A Life Filled with Sparkle

We asked Deb, a Director, to share how Style Dots has impacted her life. This is her story, in her own words.

My career in Direct Sales began nearly 40 years ago. Perhaps like you, I was a young mom looking for a way to contribute to my family’s income and still be home with my children. I was working in health care at the time and knew I didn’t want to miss out on all the fun of raising them while working a full-time job outside of the home. I wanted out. I wanted flexibility and freedom. I wanted control.

Direct Sales was the answer I was looking for! I jumped at the opportunity and built a team of 450 amazing women and a few good men. My new career provided everything I could have ever imagined—and then some! No overdue notices arriving in the mailbox, no one telling me what I could earn or what I had to do to earn it. A life well lived and filled with adventures and friendships that have only grown deeper as time marched on. But the story didn’t end there.

Fast forward 32 years and that same company I began with closed its doors. I moved on to another company, but soon that company closed too. At that point, I could have easily retired, but my passion for helping women to be their best burned strong. I wanted to leave a legacy of teaching women how they, too, could have the things my efforts afforded me. So I began researching companies to find my next (and hopefully last) chapter.

When I heard about Style Dots, I knew I had found the perfect fit! The heart-centered leadership of the founders and the Dot Central Dream Team drew me in, and the inclusive culture of the sales field offered me the home I was looking for.  We care for and about each other.

I love that I am able to share my creativity and passions daily, not only with my own growing team and customers, but with women and men across the USA! I love the collaborations that have resulted in personal growth and friendships that will last a lifetime.

My Style Dots career allows me the flexibility and financial freedom to pursue my other passions—especially my love of adventure and nature photography, which I share with my husband and biggest cheerleader, Saul.

At Style Dots we call it the Dot Life: A life filled with sparkle. A life that allows me to feel respected and appreciated. One that encourages me to be the best version of me, and allows me to live out my dream of bringing out the best in others. For that I am grateful.
