About ‘I Pour Life’
Style Dots is thrilled to be partnering with ‘I Pour Life’ in their efforts to make a difference in the lives of youth who have aged out from the foster care system. Before their much needed organization came into existence, youth in foster care were basically turned loose when they reached eighteen years of age. Many of these youth had no job skills or experience, lacked basic living skills and were often set on a path that led to poverty, homelessness or worse. Started in 2011 by founder, Julie Higgins, I Pour Life sets out to empower and equip individuals that have social and economic disadvantages to become self-sufficient.
The original program moved from utilizing community-based, volunteer coaches to staffing direct service LifeCoaches. These LifeCoaches work one-on-one with each youth, coaching them through the barriers and challenges uniquely faced by at-risk and foster care youth. I Pour Life’s vision is to ensure every at-risk or foster care youth experiences positive growth and development through the introduction of life skills. They have now grown into a nationally recognized innovative solution for helping hundreds of at-risk youth leave negative labels behind and successfully transition into adulthood. They do this by providing support and resources for educational success, workforce readiness and by helping the young adults find safe and secure places to live.
How Style Dots is Helping
When Style Dots was introduced to this fine organization, we came to appreciate the efforts of I Pour Life to help this most underserved segment of our communities. We decided to partner with them by designing exclusive Giving Circle products that are sold through our website and our Boutique Partners, as we call our direct sale representatives. One hundred percent of the proceeds of these inspirational and fashionable products are split between both of our fine charities; I Pour Life in the United States and Wholehearted Home, an orphanage in Haiti.

Everytime you purchase one of our Giving Circle products you are enabling these organizations to provide more care to more individuals. Just last year, your support enabled I Pour Life to add 15 new staff members and to give direct support to 45 more youth. This equates to many more lives positively impacted! What great news!
