The holidays are here, and that means holiday gatherings: dinners, parties, get-togethers, soirées, game nights, cookie exchanges, gift exchanges, banquets, caroling, luncheons! You name it, you’ll get invited to it.
Finding the perfect outfit for all of these gatherings is hard enough, but what about your accessories?
We’ve got you covered with perfect holiday jewelry for your 2023 holidays.
Holiday Jewelry: Glitz and Glam
When you are feeling the holiday glam vibes, opt for some bold gold and glimmer! Statement necklaces are super trendy this year, and a statement necklace in gold is perfect for the holidays. Add in some crystals, and you’ll be catching everyone’s eye at your next holiday soirée!
Layering works beautifully with statement pendants, as well. Just make sure you’re not layering two statement pieces together! Instead, opt for one statement piece and then a smaller, dainty chain, like our Gold Fan Necklace. Stacked with the Gold Starburst Chain, Gold Bling Statement Pendant, and Gold Kingsley Statement interchangeable snap Dot, it’s a holiday masterpiece!
Holiday Jewelry: So Very Merry
One of the funnest (yes, funnest) things about accessorizing for the holidays is holiday-specific jewelry—that jewelry that you only get to pull out once a year because it IS themed around a very definitive period of time.
For example, our Christmas Tree Set features, as it says in the title, delicate Christmas trees with red, green, and clear crystals. You’ve got a slide to wear on a slide chain and two Christmas tree earrings. The most wonderful thing about this set is, even though it’s specifically for Christmas, you can still customize it! The dainty slide is perfect for layering. Add additional chains; we’ve layered it with the Silver Starburst Chain and the Ruby Solitaire Dotlet in the Classic Dotlet Pendant.
You could also add more slides or accents to the slide chain. Ruby, garnet, emerald, or diamond birthstone slides would make a beautiful addition to the slide chain. The delicate earrings would work perfectly for second piercings; then you could wear your choice of hoop earrings with Dotlets or accents in festive colors.
Holiday Jewelry: Holly & Jolly
Another form of holiday jewelry is still holiday-specific, but a little less obvious. The Holly Necklace/Earring Set says “Christmas” but not quite as boldly as the Christmas Tree Set as holly and berries are a more subtle Christmas theme.
However, like the Christmas Tree Set, this is also a dainty necklace and earring set perfect for layering. Because the Holly necklace has red crystals that dangle and move, make sure you choose your necklace lengths carefully. A 20” Paperclip Chain works well because it falls below the 16” Holly Berry necklace. Then add a Ruby or Garnet Slide on the Short Slide Chain for an additional layer.
The Holly earrings can be worn alone, or for a second piercing. Again, adding hoops with interchangeable snap Dotlets or accents in any of our red, green, or clear crystals would make a gorgeous holiday combination.
Holiday Jewelry: All Season Long
There is some holiday jewelry that is decidedly Christmas. But there is some holiday jewelry that you can wear all season long, meaning from November through January, or possibly later. Snowflakes are a great example.
Our interchangeable Pearlized Snowflake Dotlet in the Dotlet Beaded Bracelet works beautifully before, during, and after the prime holiday season. While in December it says “Christmas,” in January it says “winter” with its elegant pearlized coloring. You can even layer it with other interchangeable Dotlets to make it more or less festive. Add red and green? Again, you’re going to scream Christmas. Add blues or pinks, and it becomes more about winter.
Holiday Jewelry: Keep It Holiday Cas
When you want a little bling because, hey, it’s the holidays, but you don’t want to go overboard, a bracelet stack is a great place to start. Layer dainty bracelets with a little bit of bling thrown in because holiday casual still calls for shimmer and shine!
The Diamondette Tennis Bracelet is a great place to start. This classic tennis bracelet made with simulated diamonds is on-trend, but not over-the-top. Add in the Bezel Bracelet with its delicate bezel-cut crystals. And finally, the Slide Bracelet with the Heart Slide and Slide Spacers are the ideal final layer. This bracelet stack is shimmery, but relaxed. It would look perfect with jeans and a tee.
There are so many different ways to approach holiday jewelry. You can go full glitz and glam, or go all in with the holiday theme—after all, it’s only once a year—find something that will last all season long, or go holiday cas while sitting by the fire in your holiday jammies. Or all of the above!
